Inline strip length measurement
In order to be able to correctly assign the measurement data in the line to the belt length and to the individual blanks, a reliable strip length measurement before and after the compensation loop is very important. And a suitable data backup as well.
Accuracy
The strip lengths before and after the compensation loop are mutually adjusted and corrected if necessary.
Reliability
The measured values are reliably assigned to the strip length and to the individual blanks, although these measured data are recorded at different points along the line.
Fully automatic recording
The recording of the belt length runs fully automatically including the observation of the beginning and the end of the strip. The correct cut-off length is verified as well.
Connectivity
The 3R SLM system, like all 3R systems, has many options for saving the captured data and forwarding it for further processing and use.
